Amalgam Steel – A joint venture between Atha & Misra Group has acquired Adhunik Alloys & Power Limited and Orrisa Manganese & Minerals Limited, both of which operate manufacturing facilities in the state of Jharkhand. 

The company's integrated steel plant is based on Sponge Iron Technology. Driven by the growing demand for steel products for power & telecommunication, construction and heavy industry sectors in the country, the company has a multistage expansion plan both upstream and downstream. It has also secured its raw material resources.

The Company has an Iron ore Pellet Manufacturing company located on the same premises with state-of-the-art technology. The Pellet Plant is backed with Beneficiation Plant to utilize the low grade iron ore fines and convert them into a value-added product. It produces both blast furnace and DRI grade pellets.
