The company has witnessed a remarkable turnaround in its expansion process within a very short period in the form of the acquisition of two renowned manufacturing setups namely Topworth Steels & Power Private Limited and Crest Steel & Power Private Limited in the state of Chhattisgarh. Amalgam Steel is a leading steel manufacturer of Iron Ore Pellet, Billet, Sponge Iron, and Structural Rolled Products. The Group also generates power for its captive use. It has also private railway siding for inward-outward freight services. Driven by the growing demand for steel products for power & telecommunication, construction, and heavy industry sectors in the country, the company has a multistage expansion plan both upstream and downstream. The first stage expansion process in the Jharkhand unit has already been initiated. The Pellet Manufacturing unit, Amalgam Steel Private Limited with state-of-the-art technology is located at (Kandra) Jamshedpur, Jharkhand with an annual production capacity of 1.2 Million Tonnes. The Plant is backed by Beneficiation Plant to utilize the low-grade iron ore fines and convert them into a value-added product; it produces both blast furnace and DRI grade pellets. It is one of the fastest-growing companies in India catering to a vast and quality-focused customer base. The company consumes around 1.8 to 2.0 million tonnes of iron ore fines annually to meet its production target.
Amalgam Steel & Power Limited has a 2 x 350 TPD DRI Plant with an installed capacity of 0.3MTPA, 2 x 30-ton Induction Furnaces with an installed capacity of 198000 TPA billet, and a 30 MW Captive Power Plant. The plant has also its railway siding. Amalgam Steel & Power Limited has adequate land for setting up full-fledged steel manufacturing facilities. It is an ISO-certified company and is concerned about the environment in and around the plant area.
Crest Steel & Power Private Limited, a steel manufacturing unit at Durg in the state of Chhattisgarh is the producer of Sponge Iron, Billet. The unit has a 350 MT x 2 DRI plant, and 2 x 15 T Induction Furnace. It has also a 16 MW thermal Power Generation and 3 x 100 KW Solar Power generation facility for captive consumption.
Topworth Steel & Power Private Limited is also a steel manufacturing unit having 100 TPD x 2 & 350 TPD x 1 DRI units with a production capacity of 1,65,000 MT per annum. It has 4 x 12 T Induction Furnace which produces 1,44,000 MT billets per annum along with 1,20,000 MT rolled products per annum. It has also power generation facilities for captive consumption with an installed capacity of 15MW thermal and 3 x 100 KWP solar power generation units.
